Welcome to Refuel Bible Study
My name is Josh Dotson. Most of you more than likely already know me, but if not, I'm glad to meet you. This blog is a collaborated idea from Ryan Faulkner and myself to create a centralized internet location to read and discuss the Bible. I'm fairly new at running a blog such as this, so it's appearance and functionality may change a bit in it's beginning stages, but regardless I hope you find it inviting, useful, and most importantly, inspirational.
After discussing different possible Bible Study ideas, such as reading the Bible in a year etc., we decided the best way to approach Bible study for now is to choose a book of the Bible to read daily, usually consisting of 2-3 chapters, and have open discussion until we finish that book of the Bible. For example, we may start the book of Genesis, which has 50 chapters. It will take about 17 days for us to finish Genesis and move to another book of the Bible.
Hopefully this blog can be used as a tool to help in dedicating daily time for reading the Word. Fortunately with being a blog, if you get behind on the readings you can catch up and still comment on previous discussions and readings well after they have taken place.
Please feel free to contact me with any ideas or comments.
May God bless you as you read and study His word.
